Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack JavaScript / Node.js Developer to design, develop, maintain, and enhance scalable, secure, and high-performance web applications. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in Node.js, JavaScript, React.js, and backend development, along with experience deploying and managing applications on AWS cloud environments.
The candidate will be responsible for developing frontend and backend components, optimizing application performance, managing CI/CD pipelines, troubleshooting complex technical issues, and ensuring code quality and security. This role also requires technical leadership, mentoring junior developers, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable enterprise applications.
Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development, enhancement, and maintenance of robust, scalable, and secure web applications using JavaScript, Node.js, and related technologies.
• Design, develop, and maintain backend services, REST APIs, and application components using Node.js and Java.
• Develop responsive and user-friendly interfaces using React.js and collaborate with UI/UX designers to improve application usability and performance.
• Integrate frontend applications with backend services, databases, and third-party systems.
• Optimize application performance through server-side tuning, caching strategies, database optimization, and performance monitoring tools.
• Design, implement, and maintain cloud-based application deployments using AWS.
• Support application deployments across cloud environments using Jenkins, UrbanCode Deploy (UCD), and Terraform.
• Configure, manage, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to enable automated build, testing, and deployment processes.
• Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and enforce coding standards, development best practices, and architectural guidelines.
• Develop and maintain unit tests using testing frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, and Chai.
• Analyze technical requirements, design solutions, develop application features, and resolve complex defects and production incidents.
• Utilize Jira for project tracking and Agile delivery management and ServiceNow for incident and service management.
• Integrate and manage application security tools such as Snyk and Black Duck for continuous security monitoring, dependency analysis, and vulnerability management.
• Ensure application reliability, maintainability, security, and performance throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Stay current with emerging JavaScript frameworks, libraries, development tools, and cloud technologies to recommend continuous improvements.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional experience in software development, with strong expertise in JavaScript and full-stack application development.
• Advanced hands-on experience with Node.js and server-side JavaScript development.
• Strong proficiency in React.js for frontend application development.
• Experience developing backend services, REST APIs, and enterprise application integrations.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, modern ES6+ features, asynchronous programming, and application architecture.
• Experience with Java for backend development or enterprise application integration.
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and deploying applications in cloud environments.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and UrbanCode Deploy (UCD).
• Working knowledge of Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and automation.
• Experience with databases such as MongoDB, Microsoft SQL Server, and/or Oracle.
• Experience developing and maintaining automated unit tests using Jest, Mocha, or Chai.
• Knowledge of application security, vulnerability management, and software composition analysis tools such as Snyk or Black Duck.
• Experience with Jira, ServiceNow, and Agile software development methodologies.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and technical documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Ext JS and AngularJS.
• Exposure to additional cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience with application performance monitoring, caching, and server configuration optimization.
• Experience leading development activities, conducting technical reviews, and mentoring junior developers.
• Familiarity with enterprise application architecture, scalable microservices, and cloud-native development practices.

Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will be a senior full-stack developer with strong Node.js, JavaScript, and React.js expertise, supported by hands-on AWS cloud and DevOps experience. The candidate should be comfortable leading development activities, designing backend services, building modern user interfaces, managing CI/CD pipelines, resolving complex production issues, and implementing application security best practices.
Candidates with experience in enterprise-scale applications, AWS deployments, Jenkins/UCD, Terraform, and automated security scanning will be highly preferred.
