    Summary:

    In this contingent resource assignment, you may: Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Software Engineering. Review and analyze complex multi-faceted, larger scale or longer-term Software Engineering challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors. Contribute to the resolution of complex and multi-faceted situations requiring solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that meet deliverables. Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel. Required Qualifications: Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Java technologies.
    • Develop scalable and resilient Microservices using Spring Boot and related frameworks.
    • Build and maintain responsive web applications using Angular.
    • Design and implement database solutions using JPA/Hibernate and relational databases.
    • Develop high-performance, multi-threaded applications and troubleshoot concurrency-related issues.
    • Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
    • Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support automated testing initiatives.
    • Analyze and resolve production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive solutions.
    • Collaborate with architects, business analysts, QA teams, and DevOps engineers to deliver high-quality solutions.
    • Ensure application performance, scalability, security, and reliability.
    • Create and maintain technical documentation, deployment guides, and operational procedures.
    • Support application deployments and production releases across multiple environments.

    Key Requirements:

    • Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
    • 5+ years of professional experience in Java application development.
    • Strong hands-on experience with:

    o Java (Java 8/11/17 or higher)

    o Spring Boot

    o RESTful APIs

    o Microservices Architecture

    o Angular

    o JPA / Hibernate

    o Apache Tomcat

    • Strong understanding of:

    o Object-Oriented Design and Programming

    o Data Structures and Algorithms

    o Multi-threading and Concurrency

    o Design Patterns

    o Application Security Best Practices

    • Experience with SQL and relational databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or MySQL.
    • Experience with source control tools such as Git.
    • Strong knowledge of SDLC processes, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and DevOps practices.
    • Hands-on experience in application development, testing, deployment, and production support.
    • Familiarity with both Linux and Windows environments.
    • Experience writing and maintaining automation scripts using Shell, Bash, PowerShell, Python, or similar technologies.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift.
    • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools.
    • Understanding of SSL/TLS certificates, certificate management, and secure communications.
    • Experience with Ansible for infrastructure automation and application deployment.
    • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
    • Knowledge of messaging platforms such as Kafka, Solace, RabbitMQ, or JMS.
    • Experience with monitoring and logging tools.
