Job Requirements
- 5+ years of experience developing end-to-end web applications using JavaScript, Node.js, and SQL
- Proficiency in PostgreSQL including schema design, query tuning, migrations, and execution plan analysis
- Experience in Node.js backend engineering within lightweight or framework-free architectures
- Experience with browser-based JavaScript development using direct DOM manipulation
- Experience with REST API integrations including authentication, pagination, rate-limit management, and data synchronization
- Strong communication skills with the ability to independently own and support critical applications
Job Responsibilities
- Design, build, and support scalable full-stack web solutions across front-end and back-end components
- Develop and enhance backend services using Node.js to process and expose business data
- Create and optimize relational database structures, queries, and data access patterns
- Integrate external platforms and services through RESTful APIs while ensuring data integrity
- Build and maintain data ingestion and ETL workflows for consolidating third-party information
- Deliver reliable, audit-ready outputs while serving as the primary engineer for assigned systems
