About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our engineering team and help build scalable learning, assessment, and hiring solutions used by educational institutions and enterprises.

You will work across the full technology stack, designing and developing modern web applications, cloud-based services, real-time systems, and platform integrations. This role requires strong backend expertise, frontend development skills, and the ability to collaborate across teams to deliver high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications and backend services.
• Build and enhance RESTful APIs and business-critical platform features.
• Develop responsive and intuitive user interfaces using React.
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases to design efficient data models and queries.
• Implement caching, messaging, and real-time communication solutions.
• Develop and maintain integrations with third-party platforms and cloud services.
• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical design decisions.
• Improve application performance, reliability, scalability, and security.
• Contribute to automation, testing strategies, CI/CD processes, and engineering best practices.
• Investigate and resolve production issues while ensuring platform stability.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the teams technical growth.

Skill Requirements

Required Skills

Backend

• Strong experience with Groovy/Grails and Java-based web applications.
• Experience building REST APIs and scalable backend services.
• Strong understanding of Spring ecosystem concepts, ORM frameworks, and application architecture.

Frontend

• Strong hands-on experience with React.js.
• Experience with modern JavaScript, component-driven development, and frontend state management.
• Familiarity with responsive UI development and frontend performance optimization.

Databases

• MySQL/MariaDB
• Redis
• MongoDB (preferred)

Cloud & Infrastructure

• AWS services such as EC2 and S3.
• Azure
• Experience with Linux environments and application deployments.

Integration & Platform Development

• REST APIs
• Third-party integrations
• Authentication and authorization mechanisms
• Real-time communication technologies

Quality & Delivery

• Git-based development workflows
• Unit testing and integration testing
• CI/CD practices
• Agile development methodologies

Other Requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with large-scale SaaS platforms.
• Exposure to online learning, assessment, HRTech, or EdTech products.
• Knowledge of micro-frontend architectures.
• Experience with WebRTC, real-time communication platforms, or virtual classroom solutions.
• Familiarity with containerization and cloud-native application development.
• Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and observability platforms.

Education
