Akkodis is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer for a Contract with a client in McLean VA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for modernizing financial forecasting applications, developing scalable forecasting features, and supporting critical production processes through high-quality code and continuous system improvements.
Rate Range: $75/Hour to $80/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Senior Full Stack Developer Job Responsibilities include:
Refactor and modernize financial accounting and forecasting applications to improve performance, scalability, and maintainability.
Develop and enhance forecasting engine features to increase model accuracy, runtime efficiency, and enterprise readiness.
Support critical financial reporting production runs by monitoring processes, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring data accuracy and timely delivery.
Write clean, high-quality code with strong automated unit and integration test coverage while following software engineering best practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data, API, infrastructure, and FP&A stakeholders, to deliver end-to-end forecasting solutions.
Diagnose and resolve defects, reduce technical debt, and contribute to continuous improvements, code reviews, design discussions, and platform modernization initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
Minimum 4+ years of hands-on software development experience using Python, Java, or C#.
Strong experience with Git version control, SQL/relational databases, and automated unit testing frameworks.
Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, or Podman.

Pay Details: $75.00 to $80.00 per hour
