Your Role

Akkodis is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer for a Contract with a client in McLean VA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for modernizing financial forecasting applications, developing scalable forecasting features, and supporting critical production processes through high-quality code and continuous system improvements.

Rate Range: $75/Hour to $80/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Senior Full Stack Developer Job Responsibilities include:

  • Refactor and modernize financial accounting and forecasting applications to improve performance, scalability, and maintainability.

  • Develop and enhance forecasting engine features to increase model accuracy, runtime efficiency, and enterprise readiness.

  • Support critical financial reporting production runs by monitoring processes, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring data accuracy and timely delivery.

  • Write clean, high-quality code with strong automated unit and integration test coverage while following software engineering best practices.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data, API, infrastructure, and FP&A stakeholders, to deliver end-to-end forecasting solutions.

  • Diagnose and resolve defects, reduce technical debt, and contribute to continuous improvements, code reviews, design discussions, and platform modernization initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.

  • Minimum 4+ years of hands-on software development experience using Python, Java, or C#.

  • Strong experience with Git version control, SQL/relational databases, and automated unit testing frameworks.

  • Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, or Podman.

Pay Details: $75.00 to $80.00 per hour
