Job Title: Senior Full Stack Developer

Location: Charlotte, NC

Hire Type: Contract

Rate: $62-$67/hr on W2

Introduction

We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer with a strong background in building scalable, high-performance web applications. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience across the full development lifecycle using Java, Spring, and modern front-end frameworks—especially ReactJS. This role requires someone who is detail-oriented, collaborative, and capable of delivering high-quality software solutions in an Agile environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 10 years of relevant IT development experience.
• 6 years hands-on web development using Java and Spring.
• Strong experience writing Junit tests.
• 4 years UI/UX development using HTML5, CSS3, ReactJS (expert-level required), jQuery, Node.js, and JavaScript.
• Proven ability to develop Single Page Applications (SPAs) with ReactJS.
• Experience creating custom reusable React component libraries.
• Database experience with any RDBMS, preferably SQL Server.
• Working knowledge of SQL.
• Experience building REST APIs (JAX-RS, Swagger, YAML).
• Experience with web services and related development approaches.
• Basic knowledge of XML, JSON, and schema processing technologies.
• Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Strong teamwork, collaboration, and inclusiveness.
• Self-starter with strong motivation, ownership, and innovation mindset.
• Ability to provide technical solutions and contribute to system automation and analysis.
• Capable of designing and developing common/shared reusable solutions.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing requirements.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Prior experience with Scrum, SAFe, or Lean Agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with source code management tools: Git, Bitbucket, SVN.
• Experience with build tools: Maven, Ant, etc.
• Knowledge of Spring MVC and Spring Batch.
• Working experience with CI/CD and automation tools such as Jenkins, Ansible Tower, or other similar platforms.
• Comfortable using IDE tools such as IntelliJ IDEA, Eclipse, WebStorm, Atom, Notepad, Sublime Text, Web Matrix.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable web applications using Java and ReactJS.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement innovative solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues.
