Job Title: Senior Full Stack Developer (Backstage and developer portal platforms)
Location: Lafayette, LA
Type: Permanent Full Time
Work Model: Hybrid – onsite and remote

This role will perform system level application analysis, develop solutions based on business and technical requirements, conduct unit testing, and resolve defects identified throughout the testing lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will have extensive software development experience with Java, React, Angular, AWS, and Backstage. Backstage experience is required, with prior experience supporting or implementing a developer portal strongly preferred. The role requires a solid understanding of the SDLC, application and database servers, system architecture, and modern programming practices.


Responsibilities

• Support the development, enhancement, testing, and maintenance of enterprise applications and developer portal solutions.
• Perform system level application analysis, develop solutions based on business and technical requirements.
• Conduct unit testing and resolve defects identified throughout the testing lifecycle.

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional software development experience.
• Hands-on experience with Backstage and developer portal platforms.
• Strong development experience with Java, React, and Angular.
• Experience developing and supporting applications in AWS.
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle.
• Knowledge of application servers, database servers, and system architecture.
• Experience with unit testing, defect resolution, and enterprise application delivery.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Professional certifications are preferred.
