SYSTEMTEC is seeking a Senior Full Stack Application Developer for a hybrid opportunity for candidates in Columbia, SC. The Candidate will serve as a senior-level full stack developer responsible for designing, developing, and supporting enterprise applications across multiple business functions. This role requires close collaboration with stakeholders, technical leadership, and development teams to deliver secure, scalable, and high-quality software solutions throughout the full development lifecycle.

Required Qualifications for the Senior Full Stack Application Developer:

  • Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to provide sponsorship or work with Third-Party agencies.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • 6+ years of professional experience in software development, systems analysis, application testing, or related technical disciplines.
  • Strong full stack development experience utilizing JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, and Node.js.
  • Hands-on experience with modern front-end frameworks including React, Angular, or Vue.js.
  • Experience designing, developing, and supporting RESTful APIs and enterprise applications.
  • Knowledge of authentication and security technologies including OAuth, JWT, and Single Sign-On (SSO).
  • Demonstrated analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills in complex technical environments.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts to business and leadership audiences.
  • Proven ability to mentor team members, collaborate across teams, and contribute to technical decision-making.

Preferred Skills/Experience of the Senior Full Stack Application Developer:

  • Experience with API Gateway technologies and API management solutions.
  • Knowledge of enterprise integration platforms and integration architecture best practices.
  • Experience supporting large-scale business applications in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and software development lifecycle processes.
  • Experience leading technical discussions, solution reviews, and stakeholder presentations.

Responsibilities of the Senior Full Stack Application Developer:

  • Design, develop, test, implement, and maintain complex enterprise applications and software solutions.
  • Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into scalable, effective technical designs.
  • Develop and support front-end and back-end components using modern development frameworks and technologies.
  • Create and execute testing strategies, troubleshoot defects, and ensure application quality and performance.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, project teams, and technical resources to deliver successful project outcomes.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance while supporting ongoing system enhancements and production support activities.

Work Location: Hybrid work arrangement with onsite presence required multiple days per week in Columbia, SC.
