Scion Technology has been engaged to conduct a search for an experienced Senior Full Stack AI Engineer for our client, a tech startup building infrastructure for organizations adopting AI at scale! This is a full-time, direct hire position offering a 100% remote schedule (EST or CST preferred).

POSITION OVERVIEW

Play a key role in building AI-native products used by organizations adopting AI at scale. Own features end-to-end, influence technical decisions, and help shape the next generation of enterprise AI.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Own features end-to-end while contributing to technical decisions and product development

• Build responsive frontend applications using React and TypeScript

• Develop scalable backend services and APIs using Python and Rust

• Integrate applications with cloud infrastructure

• Design and maintain databases, integrations, automated tests, and CI/CD pipelines

• Develop AI-powered features involving LLMs, RAG, embeddings, vector databases, and AI agents as needed

• Monitor and improve application reliability, performance, security, and cost

QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience

• Strong Python and JavaScript/TypeScript skills

• Production experience with React

• Experience developing backend APIs and distributed systems

• Familiarity with Cloud, Kubernetes, and SQL/NoSQL databases

• Experience with Rust, Go, or another statically typed language a plus

• Familiarity with RAG, embeddings, vector databases, AI agents, and prompt evaluation a plus

• Familiarity with profiling tools and performance optimization techniques preferred

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

This full-time position offers an annual base salary up to $210k, commensurate with experience.
