Senior FP&A Analyst

This role focuses on technology FP&A, including technology cost modeling, project forecasting, financial metrics, and analysis of cloud, software, infrastructure, and data expenses. Update the corporate forecast model, prepare executive and board materials, and deliver financial analysis that supports management decisions.

ROLE SUMMARY:
Update the corporate forecast model, prepare executive and board materials, and deliver financial analysis that supports management decisions. This role focuses on technology FP&A, including technology cost modeling, project forecasting, financial metrics, and analysis of cloud, software, infrastructure, and data expenses.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead the annual budget process, recurring forecasts, and long-term financial models.
• Prepare financial reports, variance analysis, and key performance indicators.
• Develop and maintain complex models to evaluate business scenarios and initiatives.
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations for strategic decisions and technology projects.
• Monitor departmental and organizational expenses and identify cost optimization opportunities.
• Analyze technology costs, including cloud spend, software licensing, infrastructure, and data center expenses.
• Communicate financial insights to senior management and non-financial stakeholders.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting.
• Four or more years of experience in a financial analyst or business analyst role.
• Expertise in technology FP&A.
• Advanced Excel skills and financial modeling experience.
• Experience with relational databases, including SQL or Oracle, and the ability to extract raw data.
• Experience working with large datasets and data warehouses.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
• Mortgage industry experience preferred; Workday Adaptive Planning experience preferred.
