    Description

    We are now looking for a Senior Firmware Verification and Bringup Engineer to join our Memory Subsystem Team!     What you'll be doing:

    • Bare-metal Firmware development for NVLINK-C2C, validation and debug of firmware and silicon bring-up for NVIDIA products.

    • Collaborate in pre-silicon firmware development and testing to validate features.

    • Drive silicon-bringup, feature enablement, and debug on silicon.

    • Triage and resolve firmware issues observed during bringup.

    • Debug hardware / firmware interaction issues, boot failures, training failures, and silicon issues; isolate root cause and drive fixes.

    • Develop and maintain automation and AI-assisted flows to improve firmware development and verification.

    • Work closely with system Software, RTL Design, DV, emulation, and post-silicon teams to unblock progress.

    • Refine our Interface bring up and validation strategy.

    What we need to see:

    • BS or MS EE degree with focus in embedded systems (or equivalent experience).

    • 6+ years of proven experience in low-level firmware design and verification in pre and post silicon.

    • Must have hands-on experience debugging bare-metal firmware in RTL / SystemVerilog / UVM testbenches using Verdi or similar debug tools and correlating firmware execution with RTL behavior.

    • Excellent RTL, digital debug skills, and understanding and coding skills in C/C++/Python

    • Experience with high-speed IO interfaces understanding of data structures.

    • Experience in developing firmware with AI agents would be beneficial.

    • Proven understanding of PC systems, windows OS, and Linux.

    • Hands on debugging skills. Able to break problems down based on first principles.

    • Comfortable assuming different responsibilities over the life of a product.

    Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 184,000 USD - 287,500 USD for Level 4, and 224,000 USD - 356,500 USD for Level 5.

    You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
