Senior Financial Reporting Analyst to join its team. The company is known for its operational excellence, commitment to customer satisfaction, and collaborative environment focused on innovation and employee development.
Salary/Hourly Rate: $120,000 - $140,000
Position Overview: The Senior Financial Reporting Analyst will support accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with US GAAP. This role will collaborate across departments to ensure the completeness and integrity of financial data and support audit and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills and experience with financial statement preparation and reporting.
Responsibilities of the Senior Financial Reporting Analyst:- Assist in the preparation and review of internal and external financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.
- Ensure the timely completion of quarterly and year-end closing processes while meeting all financial reporting deadlines.
- Assist with internal and external auditor requests.
- Collaborate with various internal departments to collect, analyze, and report information necessary for internal and external financial reports.
- Prepare schedules and perform analyses required for reporting and management review, including critical footnotes involving accounts payable and accrued expenses.
- Maintain and organize financial databases to ensure accuracy and accessibility of financial information.
- Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) regulations.
- Assist management with ad hoc procedures and special projects as needed.
- Assist in the consolidation process by ensuring accurate elimination of intercompany balances.
- Prepare monthly journal entries and maintain complete records of these transactions.
Required Experience/Skills for the Senior Financial Reporting Analyst:- 3-6 years of financial reporting experience.
- Strong technical skills, including advanced Excel and ERP system experience.
- Experience preparing 10-Ks and 10-Qs.
- Proficiency in financial statement preparation and stakeholder reporting.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Senior Financial Reporting Analyst:- Experience with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance and internal controls.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with finance and operational teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Education Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
