This role serves as a key technical resource to the firm's advisors, bringing together financial planning, investment analysis, tax planning, risk management, estate planning, and client financial data to prepare advisors for sophisticated client conversations.
Develop comprehensive and complex financial plans using MoneyGuidePro, with the firm transitioning to RightCapital.
Analyze client goals, cash flow, liquidity needs, savings, reserves, and other financial considerations.
Research complex planning questions and develop supporting analysis and recommendations for advisors.
Provide planning analysis related to executive incentive compensation and other sophisticated client situations.
Research investment markets, strategies, products, and portfolio solutions.
Utilize YCharts, Morningstar, and BlackRock resources for investment research and analysis.
Work with portfolio construction consultants and investment partners to evaluate strategies and portfolio solutions.
Utilize Morningstar X-Ray to evaluate portfolio composition, diversification, asset allocation, and underlying exposures.
Prepare investment proposals using Nitrogen and YCharts.
Participate in internal investment meetings and discussions with external wholesalers, portfolio managers, and investment partners.
Support model portfolio analysis and trading activities.
Utilize Holistiplan to identify and analyze tax-planning opportunities.
Evaluate strategies including Roth conversions, estimated tax considerations, underpayment issues, and other tax-related planning opportunities.
Incorporate tax considerations into broader financial and investment recommendations.
Utilize Wealth.com as part of the firm's estate-planning analysis and review process.
Conduct life insurance needs analyses using MoneyGuidePro and other firm-established methodologies.
Research and evaluate life insurance, annuities, long-term disability insurance, and long-term care insurance.
Review, summarize, and document existing insurance and annuity contracts.
Identify risk-management considerations that should be addressed as part of the client's overall financial plan.
Although this is a non-client-facing role, this individual plays an important part in preparing advisors for client meetings and recommendations.
Responsibilities include:
Preparing and reviewing Albridge Snapshot and Holdings reports.
Utilizing Morningstar X-Ray for portfolio and client updates.
Developing investment proposals using Nitrogen and YCharts.
Maintaining and analyzing client profile information within Redtail CRM, including:
Gross annual income
Monthly net income
Monthly spending
Savings
Cash reserves and reserve targets
Liquidity needs
Financial goals
Special planning considerations
Utilizing Excel to consolidate financial, investment, tax, estate, and risk-management information into clear analysis for the advisory team.
Experience with wealth management technology is important for this role. The firm's current technology ecosystem includes:
