Senior Financial Analyst

Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst for an Onsite position with a Major Utility Company located in Wheatfield, IN. This is a 12+ Month contract opportunity.

This role is responsible for providing expert advice in highly complex audit and financial matters. The ideal candidate will support large-scale business projects, develop financial models, and provide finance and accounting support for potential acquisitions and major ongoing projects. This position requires working onsite 5 days a week at the designated client facility.

Responsibilities:

• Provide advice in highly complex audit matters and participate in large-scale business projects
• Supervise, provide direction, and train other staff while developing financial models
• Make decisions and recommendations on highly technical or complex issues
• Exercise resourcefulness and ingenuity to interpret policy in the absence of formal guidelines
• Provide finance and accounting support for potential acquisitions and or ongoing major projects, including reviewing data room material and identifying potential financial accounting issues
• Review financial models to ensure appropriate presentation of accounting treatment and accuracy
• Assist the Energy Accounting, Pipeline Accounting, and Financial Reporting groups with financial research and analysis

Requirements:

• Undergraduate degree in business, finance, or a related discipline
• Professional Finance or Accounting Designation (CFA, CPA, etc.)
• 10 to 15 years of relevant experience
• Ability to work in the office 5 days a week at the designated worksite in Wheatfield, IN

Pay range: up to $48.43 per hour
