    Overview

    Job Title: Senior Financial Analyst

    Description:

    Senior Financial Analyst provides financial insight through actionable business analytics, business planning, and fact-based recommendations that will assist the company to achieve its strategic goals and priorities.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Lead the annual budgeting process, quarterly forecasts, and long-range financial planning
    • Perform variance analysis comparing actual results to budget and forecast, and communicate key drivers to management
    • Develop and maintain financial models, including scenario and sensitivity analyses
    • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to support strategic and operational decisions
    • Partner cross-functionally with operations, accounting, and business leaders to understand performance drivers
    • Support monthly and quarterly reporting through preparation of financial and management reports
    • Analyze trends in revenue, expenses, capital investments, and cash flow
    • Identify risks and opportunities and proactively communicate them to leadership
    • Assist in the development and maintenance of dashboards and reporting tools
    • Evaluate business performance and identify areas for margin expansion or cost optimization
    • Conduct ad hoc financial analysis to support key business initiatives and projects
    • Improve and streamline financial processes, systems, and reporting frameworks
    • Prepare presentations and materials for executive and stakeholder review
    • Ensure data accuracy and maintain integrity of financial information

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    • High moral and ethical standards
    • Effectively communicate financial information and understand the activities of non-financial functions
    • Proficiency in Excel and financial systems; experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI) and SQL preferred
    • Highly organized and detail oriented
    • Solid understanding of financial statements, accounting principles and practices, and financial forecasting
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Demonstrated experience using business models, budget comparisons, and forecasting
    • Ability to create and give effective presentations
    • Highly organized and able to work well under pressure

    Education and Certificates:

    • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
    • 3-5 years previous accounting or finance experience preferred

    Physical Requirements:

    • Sedentary work, requiring regular lifting up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting up to 25 pounds
    • Repetitive motion associated with operating a computer and other office equipment
    • Inside, climate-controlled working conditions, seated at a desk for extended periods of time
    • Occasional overnight travel to different offices and trainings and meetings
    • May require working long hours occasionally during high deliverable periods
