This role focuses on portfolio-level analysis, evaluating financial tradeoffs, and translating analytical outputs into clear, decision-ready insights for leadership. Ideal candidates bring experience in capital planning, financial analysis, and investment decision support.Job Responsibilities Perform analysis on complex data models, requiring customized reporting and data interpretation Develop and apply metrics to generate recommendations related to business strategy and investment decisions; present findings to leadership Conduct portfolio-level analysis of capital investment plans, including evaluation of cost, risk, and benefit tradeoffs Support development and refinement of multi-year investment scenarios under varying financial constraints Translate optimization outputs (e.g., Copperleaf) into clear, actionable insights that inform investment decisions Connect analytical results to financial envelopes, funding constraints, and executive decision-making needs Apply knowledge of capital planning, lifecycle costing, and financial drivers to support portfolio evaluations Partner with cross-functional teams (Finance, Asset Management, Engineering, Planning) to align inputs and assumptions, and assist in the reporting of financial and operational metrics Develop and maintain portfolio dashboards, reports, and analytical tools (Power BI, Excel) Perform data validation and QA/QC to ensure accuracy, consistency, and auditability of outputs Support executive-level reporting, scenario comparisons, and governance reviews Analyze current processes to identify and implement automation and efficiency opportunities.
