We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join the Alexa Sales & Marketing Finance team within Amazon Devices & Services. This role will support financial planning, reporting, and analysis for Echo Devices sales programs - including promotional event sizing, cost modeling, and business performance reporting. You will work closely with Finance Managers and cross-functional partners to deliver timely, accurate insights that inform investment decisions and drive operational excellence.

This is an ideal role for a detail-oriented analyst who wants to grow their business acumen in a high-visibility, fast-paced consumer technology environment.

Key job responsibilities

  • Build and maintain financial models for Echo device programs including revenue forecasts, promotional spend sizing, 897iand unit economics analysis.
  • Own weekly and monthly reporting deliverables - prepare WBR/MBR inputs, bridge analyses, and variance commentary for leadership reviews.
  • Conduct ad-hoc financial analyses to support promotional approval requests - calculate GP impact, ROI, and spend trade-offs to inform approval decisions.
  • Develop and automate reporting workflows using SQL, Excel, and BI tools to reduce manual effort and improve speed-to-insight across the team.
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to gather inputs, validate assumptions, and reconcile data across financial planning systems.
  • Identify trends, risks, and opportunities in the data and escalate proactively with quantified impact and recommended actions.
  • Support month-end and quarter-end close activities including accruals, reserve calculations, and actuals-to-plan reconciliation.
