As a Financial Analyst, your work, whether it"s modeling business scenarios or tracking performance metrics, is used by our leaders to make strategic company decisions. Excellent at working on multiple projects at a time, you are focused on the details while finding creative ways to address big picture challenges.

You are both a manager and a mentor, providing financial leadership and analytical support to partners of the core Finance team as well as giving your own team the support they need to become financial experts. You"ll keep management informed on key financial metrics and work to improve financial operation practices throughout your region.

As a part of the Technical Infrastructure (TI), the backbone of Google, you will support the management of global data centers and networks that power internal operations and customer-facing products like Google Cloud. In this role, you will operate within one of the largest, state-of-the-art private data center fleets in the world, a highly technical domain supported by significant capital and operating budgets. As a part of the TI Finance, you will partner cross-functionally to drive optimal decision-making, deliver actionable insights, and reduce costs to sustain Google"s competitive advantage. The name Google came from "googol," a mathematical term for the number 1 followed by 100 zeros. And nobody at Google loves big numbers like the Finance team when providing in depth analysis on all manner of strategic decisions across Google products. From developing forward-thinking analysis to generating management reports to scaling our automated financial processes, the Finance organization is an important partner and advisor to the business.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering, procurement, and construction teams to influence design decisions, reducing supply chain complexity and maximizing cash flow.
  • Drive initiatives by defining key success metrics and setting ambitious targets across multiple organizations to ensure seamless program execution.
  • Guide the development and automation of advanced financial tools, driving scalable processes and enhancing data-driven decision-making capabilities.
  • Serve as a mentor and leader within the Data Center Finance community, focused on recruiting, developing talent, and build team culture.
