This is a strong opportunity for an accounting/finance professional looking to gain broad exposure to private credit, investment reporting, SEC reporting, and portfolio operations within a highly sophisticated investment platform.

A leading global investment firm is seeking a Senior Finance Associate to join its BDC finance team in Boston. This is a strong opportunity for an accounting/finance professional looking to gain broad exposure to private credit, investment reporting, SEC reporting, and portfolio operations within a highly sophisticated investment platform.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Prepare and review 10-Q and 10-K SEC filings and other BDC reporting
- Support weekly performance, returns, positioning and attribution reporting
- Review and reconcile NAV packages with external administrators
- Prepare materials for BDC Board meetings, investor reporting and earnings releases
- Analyze quarterly financial statements and work closely with external auditors
- Support internal controls, regulatory compliance and third-party service providers
- Work closely with Portfolio Management, Operations, Investor Relations and Deal Teams
- Interpret complex fund and joint venture documents, including capital allocations, management fees, distributions and investment restrictions
- Help identify issues, determine root causes and develop solutions to unique/ad hoc requests
Ideal Background:
- 2–4 years of public accounting or relevant financial services experience
- Big 4 or other rigorous accounting environment strongly preferred
- Financial services, investment management or BDC experience is a plus
- Strong Excel skills and analytical/problem-solving ability
- Accounting, Finance or related degree
- CPA or interest in pursuing CPA/CFA is a plus
