Prime Video Channels International Finance team seeks a Senior Finance Analyst based in our Amazon office in Seattle to support Prime Video Channels business strategy and performance across Latin America, Canada and Australia/New Zealand. In doing so, you will partner with key stakeholders from Prime Video Finance, Accounting, the Channels Content Acquisition, Partner and Management, as well wider Prime Video business, Tech organizations and Amazon Advertising worldwide.

Key job responsibilities

  • Providing financial and business analysis, and recommendations to business partners, sometimes with limited or ambiguous information.
  • Owning and driving month end processes partnering with Accounting and wider FP&A teams.
  • Creating and developing reporting system controls within the team to drive efficiency.
  • Supporting internal customer groups in all finance matters including budgeting, forecasting, long-term planning, and control.
  • Preparing and reviewing regular documentation for financial review meetings with key Prime Video Channels, Prime Video, and Finance stakeholders worldwide.
  • Supporting the Finance and Business leadership as required on ad-hoc and longer-term analysis requests.
  • Manage partnerships with Pricing and Costing team to manage royalty payments and clawbacks.

A day in the life

  • Partner and advise Channels stakeholders and other leaders to navigate daily business challenges.
  • Use data systems to identify insights and surface them to senior management.
  • Lead the financial reporting of our Channels product, which gives you time to build out new processes and analysis adding value for your business partners.
  • Identify areas for scale and efficiency, and proactively address through updated reporting mechanisms.
  • Own the weekly business reporting process and drive discussion and deep dives with the business team.
