    Senior Field Service Technician | Lemont, Illinois

    Are you a mechanically inclined problem solver who enjoys working independently and taking ownership of critical operations?

    We're looking for a Senior Field Service Technician to support water treatment operations at a major industrial customer site in Lemont, Illinois.

    In this role, you'll be responsible for monitoring, maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing water treatment systems that are essential to the customer's daily operation. You'll work directly with pumps, motors, filtration systems, reverse osmosis equipment, and other water treatment technologies while playing a critical role in keeping operations running safely and efficiently.

    What You'll Be Doing

    Water Treatment Operations

    • Monitor and maintain 2 permanent water treatment systems at the customer site.
    • Complete operational rounds, readings, inspections, and system checks.
    • Record equipment performance data and operational information.
    • Support daily water treatment operations and system reliability

    Maintenance & Troubleshooting

    • Replace cartridge filters and perform preventative maintenance activities.
    • Troubleshoot pumps, motors, and light electrical issues.
    • Support repair and maintenance activities on water treatment equipment.
    • Perform mechanical maintenance tasks and equipment inspections.
    • Assist with troubleshooting filtration and treatment systems.
    • Help identify and resolve equipment performance issues.

    What We're Looking For

    Required Qualifications

    • High School Diploma or equivalent.
    • 2+ years of industrial, mechanical, maintenance, field service, or water treatment experience.
    • Strong mechanical aptitude.
    • Experience replacing motors, pumps, or rotating equipment A PLUS
    • Basic electrical troubleshooting experience.
    • Strong attention to detail.
    • Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
    • Strong commitment to workplace safety.
    • Valid driver's license.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Reverse Osmosis (RO) experience.
    • Industrial water treatment experience.
    • Pump maintenance and troubleshooting experience.
    • Industrial maintenance experience.
    • Water and wastewater treatment operations experience.

    What We Offer

    Competitive Compensation . Compensation , the estimated pay rate for the position is $30 - 35 per hour, depending on skills and experience. Starting pay is determined by several factors, including relevant experience, technical expertise, certifications, and overall qualifications.
