Are you an experienced Family Law Attorney looking to join a respected and growing practice? Our client is seeking a Senior Family Law Attorney with 10+ years of experience to handle a sophisticated family law caseload, including divorce, child custody, child support, spousal support, property division, high-net-worth asset division, and other complex domestic relations matters.
This is an outstanding opportunity to lead complex client matters, serve as first-chair counsel, mentor junior attorneys, and play a key leadership role within a collaborative and successful legal team while enjoying the flexibility of a fully remote position based in Washington State.
What You'll Do
Manage complex family law matters from inception through resolution
Serve as lead counsel in mediations, settlement conferences, hearings, and trials
Draft and argue motions, pleadings, and legal memoranda
Represent clients in court proceedings and advocate in contested matters
Handle discovery, depositions, expert coordination, and case strategy development
Advise clients on custody, support, property division, high-net-worth assets, and other complex family law issues
Negotiate favorable settlements while providing strategic legal guidance
Maintain regular client communication and deliver exceptional client service
Mentor junior attorneys and collaborate with legal support staff
Ensure compliance with court deadlines and procedural requirements
Qualifications
J.D. and active Washington State Bar admission
10+ years of family law experience
Extensive experience independently handling complex contested family law matters
Strong litigation, negotiation, trial, and case management skills
Excellent legal research, writing, and advocacy abilities
Proven ability to manage a sophisticated caseload while maintaining exceptional client service
Leadership and mentoring experience preferred
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
