This role offers professional growth and development opportunities.Apply today and be part of a team helping our owner clients make more informed decisions.ObjectiveThis position will be a project engineering technical lead, technical mentor/peer, and facilitiesQAQC lead.A successful candidate will have an extensive background in the engineering, design,construction, and operation of natural gas interconnects, pipelines, processing facilities andextended energy infrastructure.This candidate will be comfortable working within a multidiscipline engineering team andcollaborating with 3rd party consultants to achieve project requirements.A successful candidate will be able to work independently as well as collectively with projectteam members and 3rd parties.This candidate will have a business-minded approach to technical work with the ability and desire to identify, and communicate, business development (BD) opportunities within the energy market.(This position is open to multiple locations throughout Pennsylvania)Roles and ResponsibilitiesTechnical ResponsibilitiesProvide engineering technical leadership, technical mentoring and peer support, and facilitiesQAQC review within the natural gas and energy infrastructure department.Coordinate the integration of multidiscipline projects and provide designer review anddirection.Maintain project schedules and budgets for multiple simultaneous projects of variouscomplexities.Review and interpret project scope to establish and maintain project design requirementswithin the schedule a budget. Identify and communicate scope creep.Lead and develop front-end design conceptualization and optimization, generate plot plans,PFD and P&IDs.Understand and present process control philosophies and generate cause and effects / controlnarratives, etcGenerate and maintain project documentation including Design Basis Memorandums (DBMs)and Contractor Scope of Work (CSOW) to track and communicate project progression andconvey design intent.Oversee and develop site layouts and facility mechanical designs to ensure process objectivesand code requirements are met.Review, understand and adhere to industry and client specifications and design requirements.Provide QAQC of internal and subcontractor deliverables for adherence to industry and clientrequirements.Complete technical and commercial reviews of vendor-provided equipmentReview AutoCAD drawings, 3D piping models, fabrication drawings, and Bill of MaterialsAid project managers in developing schedules and budgets.Participate in site walkdowns, including as-built mechanical and electrical reviews.Aid clients with facility commissioning and startup activities.Ensure robust communication and coordination with business development, projectmanagement, procurement, equipment vendors, internal designers, and client project teams.Provide technical support and insight for Business Development initiatives to develop andpromote new client relations.Business Development (BD)**The primary role of this position is to perform technical project work as outlined above. All BD and marketing efforts will be in addition to technical project work. BD efforts will be coordinated by the BD team and managed within the framework of a strategic growth initiative, supported by department and corporate services. The Candidate will also support similar efforts by others within the department and company to advance the companys strategic BD agenda.**Proposals:Support the department and marketing team in evaluation of RFPs, writing ofproposals, and cost estimates.Coordinate directly with subconsultants and subcontractors to assemble a projectteam associated with proposal writing. This may include authoring subcontractorscope documents, contacting vendors, and evaluating submittals.Provide technical writing, review, and scope for proposals, while reviewing thatauthored by others, as requested.Marketing Programs, Projects, & ConferencesPrograms: Lead and support marketing efforts to write program profiles to promote new or modified services such as the expansion of current service offerings. Efforts to include writing content to gain exposure to expanded and new targeted markets.Projects: Author and review marketing material that highlights current andcompleted projects to highlight company successes, showcasing capabilities andmarkets served.Conferences: Periodically represent Entech at industry events and conferences topromote our capabilities and services offerings. Conference attendance may includehosting/presenting a technical discussion and staffing company vendor booth.Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesStrong knowledge of relevant industry codes and standards, particularly DOT 192 & 195,ASME B31.8, ASME B31.3/4/8, ASME Sec 8, and API 520 /521.Strong understanding of fabrication and construction drawing package structure and layout.Specific engineering experience and leadership in:o Mechanical piping and equipment designo Pipe stress and material selectiono Site layout, construction, and operationso Pipeline hydraulics, testing, and designo System commissioning and start-up procedureso Coordination of multidiscipline projects and systemsSpecific areas of technical design and engineering applications to include:o Natural gas interconnectso Compression, compressor stations, and auxiliary systemso Pipelines, pipeline facilities, virtual pipelineso Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) production and transportationPreferred additional experience and knowledge areas include:o Hydrogen infrastructure, production, transportation, and utilizationo Carbon capture and sequestrationo Alternative energy sources including Solar, Geothermal, and Windo Permitting requirements for facility any pipeline applicationsAutoCAD 2D linework experience is required.Knowledge of AutoCAD Civil3D, Plant 3D, and CADWorx experience a plus.Ability to interpret, review, and generate (via AutoCAD) process flow diagrams (PFDs) andpiping & instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) is requiredAbility to interpret and develop piping and fabrication drawing packages utilizing Auto CADplatforms for bidding, construction, and fabricationProficiency in Microsoft Office requiredStrong communication skills and an eagerness to work within a team setting
