    Senior Fabrication Project Delivery Manager

    Location: Louisville, KY

    A day in this role

    Picture starting your morning by reviewing two concurrent fabrication builds scheduled to ship next month. You scan updated Gantt charts, verify budget burn, and check yesterday’s shop-floor notes. By late morning, you’re huddled with engineering and design to resolve a tolerance question that could impact downstream welding steps. After lunch, you lead a stand-up with production to realign resources, flag a potential supply delay, and assign countermeasures. You close the day mentoring a junior PM through risk planning on a new prototype and capturing lessons learned to drive the next round of process improvements.

    What you will own

    • End-to-end leadership of multiple fabrication projects, from kick-off through closeout, with accountability for scope, schedule, and budget.
    • Cross-functional coordination with engineering, design, and production to align deliverables and remove blockers.
    • Creation and upkeep of integrated project plans, schedules, and stakeholder-facing status reports.
    • Active risk identification and mitigation; swift issue resolution as conditions change.
    • Facilitation of recurring project meetings to communicate progress, decisions, and actions.
    • Implementation of best practices and continuous improvement to elevate efficiency and quality.
    • Management of project documentation, ensuring compliance with applicable industry standards and regulations.
    • Coaching and guidance for junior project managers and team members to build capability and team cohesion.

    What you bring

    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field preferred.
    • 3+ years of project management experience.
    • Demonstrated success delivering complex, multi-stakeholder projects from initiation to completion.
    • Strong knowledge of fabrication processes and methodologies.
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for working across diverse teams.
    • Proficiency with modern project management tools and software.
    • Sharp analytical judgment and problem-solving skills.
    • PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.
