Job Overview:
Pay Range: $47.00hr - $52.00hr
Requirement/Must Have:
- Experience working within academic and/or corporate administrative offices.
- Familiarity with complicated scheduling and email triage.
- Experience with travel and event management.
- Experience with sensitive communications, purchasing, and financial reconciliation.
- Experience managing other personnel such as staff, student workers, or volunteers.
- Demonstrated facility with a range of Microsoft Office programs.
- Proven ability to handle confidential or private materials and information with discretion and tact.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal abilities.
- Internet research expertise.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive administrative and logistical support for senior leadership with a high degree of initiative, judgment, and discretion.
- Act as the primary liaison with unit customers, including faculty, students, staff, and external organizations.
- Collaborate and coordinate with team members and peers from other units to achieve organizational objectives.
- Manage complex schedules and handle frequent reprioritizations.
- Assemble resources and ensure senior faculty is well-prepared for all commitments.
- Develop an understanding of major priorities, standing meetings, and the academic calendar.
- Rapidly grasp organization policies and procedures.
- Manage email, technical troubleshooting, and document preparation.
- Plan events and travel arrangements.
- Monitor budgets and provide day to day supervision and guidance of personnel.
- Optimize processes and workflows.
