Our client, an investment firm, is seeking a Senior Everest Developer to join their team in New York, NY!

This role will focus on building and enhancing a modern ERP and financial data platform, supporting complex investment operations, fund accounting, and enterprise reporting. The ideal candidate will work at the intersection of data engineering, financial systems, and application development, helping to integrate and optimize Everest’s AI-native ERP platform, which consolidates financial operations, reporting, and data workflows into a unified system.
Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Everest ERP modules and integrations supporting finance, accounting, and investment operations.
• Build and optimize data pipelines and ETL workflows to ingest, transform, and distribute financial data (GL, transactions, positions, P&L, etc.).
• Develop custom business logic, workflows, and reporting capabilities within Everest.
• Integrate Everest with internal and external systems (data warehouses, trading platforms, market data providers).
• Support financial data modeling and data architecture for complex asset classes (credit, private equity, structured products).
• Leverage Everest’s AI and automation capabilities to streamline financial processes and reporting.
• Partner with Finance, Operations, and Data teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance across financial datasets.
• Contribute to system performance optimization, testing, and deployment processes.
• Support the navigation and usage of Everest platform with training, creating knowledge base articles, etc.
• Foster a supportive, team-first approach by mentoring colleagues and non-technical stakeholders on Everest platform navigation, ensuring cross-functional teams feel confident using the system.
• Demonstrate willingness to learn and adapt to new or evolving ERP and financial data platforms, expanding technical skill set as the organization's tech stack evolves.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, data engineering, or financial systems development.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems (Everest, NetSuite, SAP, or similar).
• Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, and/or Java.
• Experience building and maintaining ETL/data pipelines and data integration frameworks.
• Solid understanding of financial data models (GL, accounting, trade lifecycle, P&L, etc.).
• Experience working in financial services environments (asset management, hedge funds, banking, or fintech).
• Familiarity with APIs, microservices, and cloud-based architectures.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Direct experience with Everest ERP or modern cloud-native ERP platforms.
• Experience supporting private equity, credit, or alternatives investment platforms.
• Exposure to data warehousing technologies (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, etc.).
• Experience with AI/ML or automation within financial systems.
• Knowledge of financial reporting, regulatory requirements, and data governance frameworks.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development environments.
