Description
Construction Estimator
Develop conceptual estimates and budgets from early design concepts through completed plans. Prepare cost estimates for design-build and negotiated projects. Analyze drawings, specifications, and project documentation to determine accurate project costs. Collaborate with preconstruction, operations, and project management teams throughout the pursuit process. Estimate self-performed scopes and major trade packages. Participate in value engineering, constructability reviews, and budgeting exercises. Support project pursuits across healthcare, life sciences, assisted living, and other complex commercial sectors. Maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders. Assist in developing competitive and comprehensive proposals for prospective clients.

The successful applicant will have 8+ years of construction estimating experience. Proven success developing conceptual and design-build estimates. Experience estimating complex commercial construction projects. Healthcare, life sciences, assisted living, higher education, or similarly complex project experience strongly preferred. Exposure to concrete and structural concrete scopes is highly desirable. Prior project management experience is a plus. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Demonstrated career stability with a consistent employment history. Ability to work full-time onsite in Raleigh, NC.
