Description

  • Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs and cost estimates
  • Review plans, specifications, and bid documents
  • Solicit subcontractor and supplier pricing
  • Analyze bid packages and identify project risks
  • Prepare conceptual and hard-bid estimates
  • Assist with value engineering efforts
  • Participate in bid reviews and presentations
  • Maintain relationships with subcontractors and public agencies

Profile

  • 8+ years of estimating experience with a General Contractor
  • Experience bidding public-sector projects
  • Knowledge of prevailing wage requirements and public bid procedures
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Experience using estimating software preferred
