Senior Estimator - K-12, Higher Ed & Municipal

Overview

Bring your senior estimating skills to a growing Columbus commercial GC/construction manager with public and private work across Ohio. This role focuses on schools, higher-ed, and municipal projects, and offers real ownership of the bid and a voice in which pursuits the firm chases. Responsibilities

• Lead estimates for K-12, higher-ed, and municipal projects
• Mentor junior estimators and review takeoffs
• Analyze scopes, alternates, and addenda on public bids
• Build relationships with subcontractors and suppliers
• Support go/no-go decisions and post-bid reviews

Requirements

• 5+ years of commercial estimating, ideally including senior-level bids
• Public school, higher-ed, or municipal bidding experience preferred
• Prevailing-wage knowledge a plus
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Proficiency with takeoff and estimating software
