Senior Estimator

The Senior Estimator leads the development of detailed estimates and plays a key role in preconstruction strategy. This role owns estimates from concept through GMP and supports client relationships during the preconstruction phase.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead preparation of conceptual, schematic, and GMP estimates
• Develop detailed scopes and lead subcontractor bid efforts
• Analyze drawings and identify risk, gaps, and value engineering opportunities
• Lead bid leveling and scope alignment with trade partners
• Collaborate with operations, design teams, and clients
• Present estimates internally and to external stakeholders
• Mentor junior estimators and support team development
• Contribute to preconstruction strategy and scheduling

Qualifications:

• 5-10+ years of estimating experience with a commercial GC
• Background in one or more of the following markets preferred: Education, Office, Historic Preservation, Adaptive Re-Use, Hospitality, or Municipal
• Strong understanding of construction pricing, market conditions, and trade scopes
• Experience with conceptual estimating and GMP development
• Ability to lead estimate efforts independently
• Strong communication and leadership skills
