Job Description:

As a Senior Estimator, you will play a pivotal role in the pre-construction phase, providing accurate and detailed cost estimates for roadway, highway, and civil projects. This position requires a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of construction estimating, cost analysis, and project management.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough cost estimations for roadway, highway, and civil projects.
• Analyze project specifications, blueprints, and other documentation to prepare accurate and comprehensive estimates.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for the estimation process.
• Utilize industry-standard estimating software and tools to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
• Evaluate and negotiate subcontractor and supplier bids to ensure cost-effectiveness.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to junior estimators.
• Contribute to the development of project budgets and schedules.
• Stay informed about industry trends, material costs, and construction methods.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in construction estimating, with a focus on roadway, highway, and civil projects.
• Proficient in industry-standard estimating software and tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Leadership experience in a senior role.

• COMPENSATION
• Base Salary - USD $150,000 to $175,000
