We’re searching for a talented and driven SeniorEstimator to join our team!
Your Day-to-Day:
- Prepare electrical cost estimates to support bidding and pricing
- Analyze blueprints and documents to estimate time, cost, materials, and labor
- Review contract documents to define scope and estimate requirements
- Calculate complete takeoffs for discipline-specific estimates
- Request and evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotes
- Deliver accurate estimates on time for review and revision
- Maintain detailed files of estimate backup and supplier pricing
- Review design options and recommend cost-effective, quality solutions
- Perform other duties as assigned
What You’ll Bring to the Table:
- Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school
- 7-10 years of estimating experience, preferably in mission critical electrical construction
- Knowledge of estimating techniques, cost control, and computerized cost data interpretation
- Familiarity with Accubid Anywhere and LiveCount preferred but not required
- Strong ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines professionally and timely
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, professional and courteous
- Skilled multitasker—can manage multiple screens and phone conversations simultaneously
- Proficient in creating, editing, and analyzing Excel, Word, PDF, and PowerPoint documents
