Senior Estimator - Civil Construction

The Senior Estimator will be responsible for developing accurate, competitive, and strategic estimates that support profitable project delivery and business growth.

Lead estimating efforts for heavy civil, transportation, utility, and municipal infrastructure projects
Analyze plans, specifications, and bid documents to prepare complete project estimates
Perform quantity takeoffs, pricing evaluations, and risk assessments to support winning pursuits
Solicit, review, and negotiate subcontractor and vendor proposals to optimize project costs
Collaborate with project management, operations, and executive leadership on bid strategy and project execution planning
Prepare and submit comprehensive bid packages while ensuring compliance with client requirements and deadlines
Conduct site visits, constructability reviews, and pre-bid evaluations to identify project risks and opportunities

For the Senior Estimator - Civil Construction we are seeking:

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred
Proven experience estimating heavy civil, transportation, roadway, utility, site development, or municipal infrastructure projects
Strong understanding of civil construction means, methods, sequencing, and project costs
Expertise in quantity takeoffs, conceptual estimating, competitive bid preparation, and risk analysis
Experience evaluating subcontractor and supplier pricing for large-scale civil projects
Proficiency with HeavyBid, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and related estimating software
Strong analytical, communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple pursuits in a fast-paced bidding environment
