Our client is seeking a seasoned ERP operations consultant with deep expertise in Epicor Kinetic implementations and operational process transformation. This individual will play a critical role in guiding manufacturing and distribution organizations through ERP assessments, solution design, implementation, optimization, and post-go-live support.
The ideal candidate brings a consultative mindset, strong business process knowledge, and hands-on Epicor functional expertise across manufacturing, supply chain, inventory, and production operations. This is a highly client-facing role requiring exceptional communication, workshop facilitation, and documentation skills.
This position involves regular travel to customer locations across the U.S.
Key Responsibilities- Lead ERP discovery sessions and operational process reviews with client stakeholders
- Analyze current-state workflows and design future-state business process recommendations
- Develop detailed business process documentation, functional requirements, and implementation plans
- Configure and align Epicor Kinetic functionality to support customer operational requirements
- Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and user acceptance testing activities
- Support full ERP lifecycle initiatives including pilot testing, cutover, go-live, and hypercare support
- Assist customers with operational best practices related to manufacturing, inventory, purchasing, planning, and fulfillment
- Provide ongoing consulting and advisory services to existing ERP customers
- Collaborate with project managers and technical teams to ensure successful project delivery
- Mentor junior consultants and contribute to internal knowledge-sharing initiatives
Required Experience & Qualifications- Extensive hands-on experience implementing Epicor ERP / Epicor Kinetic in manufacturing or distribution environments
- Proven success participating in multiple full-cycle ERP implementations
- Strong understanding of:
- Order management and quoting
- Purchasing and procurement
- Inventory control and warehouse operations
- Production management and shop floor execution
- Engineering and bill of materials structures
- Planning, forecasting, and MRP
- Scheduling and resource management
- Quality processes and compliance workflows
- Experience facilitating business process reviews and translating findings into actionable ERP solutions
- Ability to estimate project effort, training requirements, and implementation timelines
- Strong documentation and presentation skills
- Experience supporting ERP cutover and post-production environments
- Comfortable working directly with executive leadership, operations teams, and end users
Preferred Qualifications- Experience with:
- Epicor Product Configurator
- Data migration and conversion activities
- Warehouse mobility solutions and MES environments
- EDI integrations
- Labeling or packaging automation solutions
- CRM and customer service workflows
- Background in manufacturing, operations, or supply chain management
- APICS, CPIM, or related industry certifications preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field preferred
