We are seeking an experienced Epicor ERP Systems Specialist for a confidential opportunity with an established and growing organization in the aerospace and defense manufacturing industry.
This position is ideal for an ERP professional who enjoys working closely with business stakeholders, optimizing enterprise applications, and delivering technology solutions that improve manufacturing efficiency.
The successful candidate will serve as a key technical and functional resource for the organization's Epicor ERP environment, supporting system enhancements, business process improvements, integrations, and a significant modernization initiative involving Epicor 10 and Epicor Kinetic.
Key ResponsibilitiesManage and support day-to-day operations of the Epicor ERP platform, ensuring system reliability, performance, and data integrity.
Participate in the planning, coordination, and execution of the transition from Epicor 10 to Epicor Kinetic.
Configure, maintain, and enhance ERP functionality to support evolving business requirements.
Develop and optimize Epicor Business Activity Queries (BAQs), reports, dashboards, and data extraction processes.
Work collaboratively with Manufacturing, Engineering, Finance, Sales, and other departments to identify opportunities for ERP improvements.
Troubleshoot application issues, resolve user concerns, and provide ongoing functional and technical support.
Support ERP integrations with other enterprise applications and manufacturing systems.
Analyze existing workflows and recommend solutions to streamline business processes.
Assist with testing, documentation, user training, and change management for ERP enhancements.
Collaborate with IT leadership on ERP roadmap planning, system upgrades, and technology improvement initiatives.
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
3 5+ years of experience working with Epicor ERP, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Strong hands-on knowledge of Epicor ERP administration, configuration, and troubleshooting.
Experience developing and maintaining Epicor BAQs, reports, and business workflows.
Understanding of manufacturing ERP processes, including production, inventory, purchasing, order management, and related business operations.
Experience supporting ERP users, resolving technical issues, and implementing system improvements.
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and translate business requirements into ERP solutions.
Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Experience with Epicor Kinetic, particularly upgrades or migrations from Epicor 10.
Working knowledge of SQL Server, SQL queries, and Power BI.
Experience supporting ERP integrations, reporting automation, or business intelligence initiatives.
Familiarity with aerospace, defense, or other regulated manufacturing environments.
Experience participating in ERP modernization or digital transformation projects.
Play an important role in a major ERP modernization initiative.
