    Pay: $140,000 - $160,000/year + 15% bonus

    Shift: Days

    About the Role

    HiFyve is seeking a Sr. Engineering Manager to lead engineering and maintenance operations within a 24/7 food manufacturing facility. This position will oversee maintenance leadership, equipment reliability, plant utilities, capital projects, and continuous improvement initiatives.


    Job Responsibilities

    • Lead engineering and maintenance operations across the facility
    • Manage and develop maintenance supervisors and technicians
    • Drive preventive and predictive maintenance programs to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime
    • Oversee CMMS utilization, maintenance planning, and asset management
    • Identify, develop, and manage plant capital improvement projects
    • Manage departmental budgets, maintenance costs, vendors, and contractors
    • Support electrical, mechanical, utilities, refrigeration, boiler, and facility systems
    • Partner with production to improve safety, quality, equipment performance, and operational efficiency
    • Ensure compliance with food safety, GMP, environmental, and regulatory requirements
    • Support continuous improvement initiatives throughout the facility


    Requirements

    • 8+ years of engineering and/or maintenance experience within food manufacturing
    • 2+ years of experience supervising maintenance personnel
    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering strongly preferred
    • Experience managing budgets and capital projects
    • Ability to scope, schedule, budget, and lead plant CAPEX projects
    • Knowledge of preventive/predictive maintenance and CMMS programs
    • Experience with 480V three-phase electrical systems preferred
    • PLC troubleshooting experience preferred; Allen-Bradley experience is a plus
    • Ammonia/Refrigeration Level 2 certification required or willingness to obtain
    • Minnesota Boiler 1B license or higher required or willingness to obtain
    • Knowledge of wastewater treatment and environmental compliance
    • Union manufacturing experience preferred
    • AutoCAD experience preferred
