Overview
The Senior Engineering Manager serves as a client-facing engineering leader responsible for the successful delivery of multidisciplinary projects for within ENERCON's matrixed organization. This role works with the division director to provide technical leadership, project oversight, and client engagement, while coordinating closely with a centralized Design Organization that provides engineering resources, staff management, and professional development.
Senior Engineering Managers ensure safe, high-quality project execution, help drive the division's business growth, and maintain strong client relationships while leading project-based teams composed of matrixed engineering personnel.
Responsibilities
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (any discipline); advanced degree preferred
Professional Engineer (PE) license required
10+ years of engineering experience, including project leadership
Demonstrated experience in:
Engineering project execution
Client relationship management
Leading multidisciplinary teams in a matrixed environment
Strong knowledge of applicable industry codes, standards, and regulations
Technical leadership and decision-making
Client focus and relationship management
Project execution and accountability
Collaboration across matrixed teams
Strategic thinking and business acumen
Communication and influence
Compensation Range
USD $158,000.00 - USD $220,000.00 /Yr.
