Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Utilities Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to work with our talented team of utilities specialists on a number of major projects in the Seattle area.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Supporting the utilities design on a wide variety of projects including aerial power and communications
  • Leading teams of designers
  • Teaching younger engineers
  • Coordinating with interdisciplinary teams
  • Delivering project plans, specifications and reports

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (or related field) and typically 8+ years of related work experience
  • Professional Engineer registration may be required
  • A problem-solving mindset
  • A collaborative attitude
  • Experience with a wide variety of underground and aerial utilities

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

  • The ability to self-teach and lead tasks
  • Experience with aerial power and communications facilities
  • Experience with a variety of CADD platforms. ACAD Civil3D is preferred
  • Experience with developing 3D utilities models
  • Experience developing plans, specifications and reports for clients in Western Washington
