Strong understanding of deploying Kubernetes on AWS and Azure
Roles & Responsibilities
Support an external-facing BigQuery Multi Cloud product, by handling OnCall issues and improving internal processes, including deployments and testing.
Reduce oncall toil, which includes:
Daily inspection of bugs, AWS/Azure pushers, and component releases during working hours.
Solving common issues (e.g., retries from transient deployment failures, unlock annealing).
Documenting initial investigations in bugs and routing them to the appropriate team
Owning ongoing interactions with routed teams.
Perform periodic tasks and audits.
Drive documentation improvements, including creating and refactoring documentation as part of the learning process.
Salary Range: $95,000-$105,000 a year
