Senior Optimizely Developer

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

• Experience: 10+ years of professional development experience, with 5+ years specifically delivering solutions

on Optimizely CMS/DXP .

• Technical Stack: Strong proficiency in C#, .NET Framework, and .NET Core . Deep understanding of ASP.NET MVC

and Web API .

• API Integration: Proven experience in designing and building robust API integrations. Experience with RESTful services,

OAuth 2.0 authentication, and JSON .

• Systems Knowledge: Solid understanding of web development fundamentals, databases (MS SQL),

and service-oriented architecture .

• Problem Solving: Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to work autonomously and hit the ground running .

Roles & Responsibilities

• Optimizely Development: Lead the design, customization, and maintenance of solutions on Optimizely CMS

and DXP, ensuring high performance and scalability .

• API & Systems Integration: Architect and develop seamless integrations between Optimizely and third-party services,

including CRM (Salesforce), Marketing Automation (Marketo), analytics tools, and internal systems .

Extensive experience with REST APIs, OAuth 2.0, and webhooks is critical .

• Backend Architecture: Build and maintain backend services using .NET C#, ASP.NET MVC, and .NET Core.

Ensure efficient content workflows, publishing processes, and data consistency .

• Digital Experience Optimization: Implement personalization, A/B testing, and experimentation features to

drive business outcomes . Work with Optimizely Web Experimentation and feature flagging .

• Technical Leadership: Conduct code reviews, uphold best practices, and collaborate with cross-functional teams

including front-end developers, designers, and project managers .

• Performance Tuning: Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to Optimizely CMS integrations, caching,

and Core Web Vitals performance .

Generic Managerial Skills, If any

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies .
• Experience in the Financial Services industry is a plus .
• Optimizely certifications (CMS or Commerce) are advantageous .
• Experience with modern frontend frameworks (React, Next.js) or headless CMS implementations .
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions) .

Salary Range: $115000 - $130000 a year
