Catia Support and Automation Specialist
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
- Strong expertise in CATIA Variant Management for complex vehicle configurations
- Hands-on experience in developing top-level vehicle models, external surfaces, and complex vehicle states
- Advanced knowledge of CATIA EKL for macro development, automation, and intelligent feature creation
- Experience in developing validation scripts to ensure compliance with engineering and design standards
- Strong proficiency in Q-Checker implementation and automation of CAD quality checks
- Expertise in creating 2D technical drawings from 3D models with minimal manual dimensioning
- Knowledge of CATIA 2024x/2026x features, including advanced surfacing and AI-enabled engineering capabilities
- Strong understanding of PLM synchronization, geometry validation, and model quality standards
- Experience supporting CATIA, ENOVIA, cloud VM environments, and FlexNet license servers
Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage and support variant configurations and complex modeling activities for vehicle programs
- Create and automate CATIA macros, EKL routines, and validation scripts to improve engineering productivity
- Establish and maintain automated quality checks covering CAD data, PLM synchronization, sketches, and geometry
- Generate high-quality engineering drawings and ensure adherence to drafting standards
- Lead deployment and adoption of new CATIA functionalities, providing user training and technical guidance
- Drive knowledge sharing on generative design, augmented engineering, and emerging CAD technologies
- Provide application support for CATIA and ENOVIA users, including issue resolution and access management
- Support system performance optimization and administration of license management infrastructure
- Collaborate with engineering, PLM, and design teams to ensure compliance with modeling standards and best practices

Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical teams (design, software) and non-technical teams (operations, technicians).
Education
BS in Mechanical Engineering (EE), Automotive Engineering (ME) or equivalent practical experience.

Salary Range: $110000 - 125000 a year
