Senior Engineer - Land Development and Planning

Senior Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Engineer for our Land Development Planning & Entitlement Department. This position is for enthusiastic leaders committed to lifelong learning and helping the firm achieve its goals through high-level performance and business development.

Salary range: $123,300 - $155,000

Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and manage multiple projects
• Demonstrate expertise in residential, commercial, and industrial project design
• Communicate effectively with agencies and clients
• Adhere to firm-wide policies on project and financial management, client relations, and business development
• Research, analyze, and present technical performance data
• Manage projects while maintaining strict adherence to budgets and deadlines
• Exhibit attention to detail with strong organizational skills
• Lead by example to meet or exceed personal performance goals
• Foster successful staff integration and team building
• Maintain registration as an engineer in California

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Civil 3D
• Strong technical, communication, and leadership skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently and oversee the full design process
• Experience supervising staff and working in team environments
• Knowledge of public agency standards and land development requirements
• Proficiency in all aspects of land development design
