One of our clients, a Japanese IT Firm, is looking for a Senior Engineer in NYC.
About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Engineer to join our growing team in New York City. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting of our server infrastructure, both on-premises and in the cloud. This is a hands-on role that requires a strong understanding of server technologies, Active Directory, and cloud platforms, particularly Azure.
Responsibilities:
Deployment, and maintain on-premises and cloud-based server infrastructure.
Manage and maintain Active Directory, including user accounts, group policies, and domain services.
Deploy, operate, and troubleshoot Azure environments.
Ensure the security and integrity of server infrastructure.
Proactively monitor system performance and identify potential issues.
Develop and maintain documentation for server infrastructure and processes.
Collaborate with other IT team members to ensure smooth operations.
Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related fields.
3+ years of experience in a similar role.
Strong understanding of server hardware and software, including Windows Server.
Extensive experience with Active Directory administration and troubleshooting.
Hands-on experience with Azure environment deployment, operation, and troubleshooting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with AWS cloud platform.
Knowledge of ITIL best practices.
Relevant certifications (e.g., MCSA, Azure Administrator).
Japanese language skills.
This position requires presence in our New York City office 2-3 days per week.
