Position Summary:
This job is responsible for defining and leading the engineering approach for complex features to deliver significant business outcomes. Key responsibilities of the job include delivering complex features and technology, enabling development efficiencies, providing technical thought leadership based on conducting multiple software implementations, and applying both depth and breadth in a number of technical competencies. Additionally, this job is accountable for end-to-end solution design and delivery.
The Open Banking Channel supports over 20 million customers to conduct the banking application of their choice, with over 7,000 applications in the ecosystem. We are in search of a talented Senior Engineer who will be responsible for interfacing with multiple internal teams and external companies to assist them in operational needs and process engagement and response improvements. This Engineer will maintain a partnership/working relationship with the application teams, support internal business partners and external 3rd party partners to proactively modify and update operational processes as appropriate. As part of the team, you will design and support enterprise-scale solutions across Java, APIs, microservices, OpenShift, cloud-native platforms and distributed systems, delivering resilient, high-volume services.
