We are seeking a hands-on Senior Manufacturing Engineer to support and optimize automated assembly lines in a high-volume production environment.
This role focuses on equipment reliability, troubleshooting, process optimization, and production support, with strong involvement in automation systems and continuous improvement initiatives.
The ideal candidate is technically strong, highly hands-on, and comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
Key Responsibilities
Equipment & Maintenance
Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure high equipment uptime and reliability
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and automation systems (PLC, robotics, etc.)
Support installation, commissioning, and validation of new equipment
Production & Process Optimization
Monitor production metrics (yield, cycle time, OEE) and drive improvements
Identify bottlenecks and implement Lean / Kaizen initiatives to improve efficiency and quality
Optimize assembly processes including welding, soldering, and dispensing
NPI & Engineering Support
Support new product introduction (NPI), including process validation and production readiness
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure smooth product launches
Team Leadership & Collaboration
Provide technical guidance to engineers and technicians on the production floor
Work cross-functionally with Production, Quality, and Engineering teams
Collaborate with global teams, including China-based engineering teams
Documentation & Compliance
Maintain SOPs, maintenance records, and technical documentation
Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards (OSHA, ISO 9001, IATF 16949)
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related field
5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, automation, or equipment maintenance
Hands-on experience with automated assembly lines and industrial equipment
Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical, electrical, and control systems
Experience working in high-volume manufacturing environments (automotive or electronics preferred)
Fluent in Mandarin and English
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with PLC, robotics, or industrial automation systems
Background in automotive or Tier-1 manufacturing
Lean / Six Sigma experience
Experience with processes such as welding, CNC, or molding
