Job Overview:

Senior Endpoint Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, securing, automating, and supporting Ingersoll Rand's global endpoint management environment. This role serves as a technical leader in modern endpoint engineering, driving the organization's transition from traditional on-premises management to cloud-native endpoint management using Microsoft Intune and Windows Autopilot.

The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in enterprise Windows environments, endpoint security, PowerShell automation, and Microsoft Endpoint Management technologies. This individual will partner closely with Cybersecurity, Infrastructure, Service Desk, and Field Services teams to improve endpoint health, strengthen security posture, automate operational processes, and deliver an exceptional end-user experience across a global environment supporting more than 20,000 endpoints.

Responsibilities:

• Lead enterprise endpoint management using Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot, and Entra ID.
• Drive endpoint modernization and migration from MECM/SCCM to cloud-managed solutions.
• Manage device deployment, compliance, security, patching, and lifecycle management.
• Develop PowerShell automation and proactive remediation solutions.
• Partner with Cybersecurity teams to improve endpoint security and vulnerability remediation.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting, technical leadership, and documentation.
• Recommend and implement continuous improvements to endpoint services.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years supporting enterprise Windows environments.
• 5+ years of Microsoft Intune and Endpoint Management experience.
• Hands-on experience with Windows Autopilot and PowerShell scripting.
• Experience with MECM/SCCM and hybrid cloud environments.
• Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11, endpoint security, patching, and compliance.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Experience with macOS, Linux, and mobile device management.
• Experience with Endpoint Analytics, Windows Update for Business, and Microsoft 365 Security.
• Experience with CrowdStrike, Zscaler, BeyondTrust, or similar endpoint security platforms.
• Microsoft Endpoint, Enterprise Administrator, or Security certifications preferred.
