(3 yrs); Experience with Agile, JIRA and Jama (Preferred) (3 yrs)Required Minimum Education: Bachelor's DegreeJob Description Education: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.Required Skills:Analyze requirements and create detailed test cases, test plans, and test protocols.Manual and automated testing of embedded systems (hardware and software/firmware) and documentation of results.Troubleshoot defects, perform root cause analysis, and verify outcomes.Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test strategies for embedded software, firmware, and hardware-integrated products.Create detailed test cases and test protocols.Execute manual and automated tests.Document test execution results.Prepare accurate and clear test reports.Perform verification and validation activities.Preferred Skills:Working knowledge of C++.Working knowledge of C#.FDA product experience.Regulatory knowledge (510K submissions).Summary:The Sr. Embedded Software Test Engineer is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive test plans and strategies for embedded software, firmware, and hardware-integrated products. The role includes system-level verification activities such as requirements analysis, test case development, manual and automated testing, root cause analysis, and defect troubleshooting. The position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality, regulatory compliance support, and continuous improvement of testing methodologies.Responsibilities:Analyze requirements and develop detailed test plans, test cases, and test protocols.Perform manual and automated testing of embedded systems, including hardware and software/firmware components.Execute system-level verification activities.Troubleshoot defects and perform root cause analysis.Utilize command-line tools, log files, and physical probing methods to validate product performance.Perform electrical and mechanical testing methods as required.Document test execution results and verification outcomes.Prepare test reports summarizing defects, trends, corrective actions, and verification results.Support regulatory submission activities as required.Collaborate with engineering, quality, and project teams to communicate timelines and testing outcomes.Continuously improve test methods and overall product quality.**Only those lawfully authorized to work in the designated country associated with the position will be considered.****Please note that all Position start dates and duration are estimates and may be reduced or lengthened based upon a client's business needs and requirements.**
