Job Title: Senior Embedded Software Engineer

Client: Heavy Machine Manufacturing Company

Duration: 12 Months Contract

Location: Urbandale, IA 50322

Job Summary

Design, develop, test, and implement embedded software for HVC products. Provide technical leadership and take software solutions from development and validation through production.

 

 

Job Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and analyze embedded software.
  • Support software solutions through product development and production.
  • Provide technical leadership and design guidance.
  • Develop cross-platform software and support systems integration.
  • Analyze requirements and develop software/validation solutions.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and specifications.
  • Identify system/process gaps and recommend improvements.
  • Support change management and engineering projects.
  • Collaborate with customers, partners, and cross-functional teams.
  • Track project scope, risks, schedules, issues, and deliverables.
  • Provide technical expertise across the product line.

Qualifications

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of embedded software development experience.
  • Experience with cross-platform solutions and systems integration.
  • Experience taking software from development through production.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience working with engineering teams, customers, and partners.
  • Understanding of complex machine/vehicle systems preferred.
