Description
For our client, we are seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to support munitions software development in Maple Grove, MN.
- Design, develop, integrate, and test embedded software for munitions programs.
- Develop object-oriented software using C++ in RTOS and/or bare-metal environments.
- Support requirements analysis, architecture, design, implementation, unit testing, hardware/software integration, and verification.
- Coordinate software safety, cybersecurity, configuration management, and quality-assurance activities.
- Review requirements and designs for alignment with customer and system-level requirements.
- Develop project schedules, estimates, metrics, and technical status reports.
- Monitor technical, cost, and schedule performance and take corrective action when needed.
- Support EVMS reporting, Control Accounts, Work Packages, and estimates at completion.
- Prepare for and participate in SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR, and customer technical reviews.
- Coordinate internal and external engineering resources and communicate risks, issues, and opportunities to program leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical discipline with at least five years of related experience; master’s degree with three years; or Ph.D. with one year.
- Strong object-oriented design and embedded C++ development experience.
- Experience developing real-time applications using an RTOS and/or bare-metal environment.
- Knowledge of software engineering and development processes.
- Familiarity with Ethernet communications.
- Understanding of EVMS and Control Account Manager or Work Package Manager responsibilities.
- Must be eligible to obtain a Secret security clearance.

Pay Range: $58.00 - $63.00 per hour (Depending on experience and qualifications)
