We are seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Embedded Linux, NVIDIA Jetson platforms, BSP development, hardware bring-up, and system integration. This role will focus on platform enablement, hardware interface validation, Linux kernel/device-driver development, and development of software services supporting automated test and manufacturing environments. The ideal candidate will be highly experienced in C/C++, Linux, NVIDIA JetPack, GMSL, hardware diagnostics, and display/multimedia systems, with the ability to troubleshoot issues across hardware and software boundaries and deliver production-ready solutions
Lead Linux OS bring-up and platform stabilization on NVIDIA Jetson-based hardware.
Configure, customize, integrate, and validate NVIDIA JetPack/BSP components.
Develop and debug Linux kernel modules, device drivers, BSP components, and system services.
Perform hardware enablement and validation for I2C, SPI, UART, GPIO, GMSL, Bluetooth, touch panels, and SPI Flash.
Support display and multimedia subsystem integration, including 4K video output and related hardware/software interfaces.
Develop C/C++ APIs, services, and communication interfaces between Jetson platforms and external tester/client applications.
Build platform services for hardware control, device discovery, flash programming, diagnostics, monitoring, and health management.
Implement automated system initialization, power sequencing, startup validation, and runtime recovery mechanisms.
Develop and troubleshoot GMSL initialization and reinitialization without requiring a complete platform reboot.
Perform system-level debugging, log analysis, root-cause investigation, performance optimization, and hardware/software failure analysis.
Develop tools and scripts using Python and Shell to support automated testing, diagnostics, and manufacturing workflows.
Support production validation, automated test systems, and manufacturing software integration.
Maintain technical documentation, interface specifications, integration procedures, troubleshooting guides, and release documentation.
Work closely with hardware, firmware, manufacturing, QA, and test engineering teams throughout product development and production.
Support software releases, Git-based development workflows, third-party software integration, and software licensing activities.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field.
5+ years of professional embedded software development experience.
Strong hands-on experience with Embedded Linux and Linux system programming.
Experience with NVIDIA Jetson platforms and NVIDIA JetPack SDK.
Strong experience with BSP customization, Linux kernel configuration, and device-driver development.
Strong programming skills in C/C++.
Hands-on experience with I2C, SPI, UART, GPIO, and other hardware interfaces.
Experience with GMSL or comparable high-speed data interfaces.
Experience with hardware bring-up, board validation, debugging, and system integration.
Strong knowledge of Git, software development/release processes, debugging, and
embedded system troubleshooting.
